In decant: cool apple, hint of the red currant, and a touch of green. This is sweet, almost candy-sweet, but the apple is fairly "crisp" in feel so it doesn't go candyish.

In imp: wow, bright! Fruity! Apples! Some hyacinth, but...apples!!

Hibiscus syriacus, white sandalwood, lily of the valley, apple blossom, and green fig.

In imp: sweet, tangy floral with vague apples in the background. Light.

Wet on skin: soapy? Something completely different from the imp comes up--almost dusty, but still crisply fruity along with the florals--a very little bit of lily, but probably more hibiscus ( Read more... )

A mélange of silvery musk, iris, licorice root, black currant, apple blossom, patchouli root, violet, heliotrope, anise, and tonka bean.

In decant - definitely patchouli, with a slightly fruity tone. Dirt--although I usually just get "dirt" from patchouli anyway. Dark and herbal--maybe the anise? Also powdery to my nose.

Guava, orange peel, white pepper, spun sugar and apple blossom.

In bottle: woo, sweet and sugary fruits! This is definitely sweet, but not cloying, or foody, or boozy. Very prettily fruity apples and oranges and guavas--the apples and guavas are very well blended, sometimes I think it's a guava and sometimes I think it's an apple.
